18 Gulf Pine Catholic • June 19, 2026 BAY ST. LOUIS -- St. Stanislaus proudly recognizes Mohamad Baroudi as the Valedictorian and Charles Hoffmann as the Salutatorian for the Class of 2026. Recognized as the Valedictorian of the St. Stanislaus College Class of 2026, Mohamad Baroudi has built an exceptional record of academic achievement and leadership during his years at SSC. The son of Kinana Baroudi and Bassam Baroudi, Farres came to St. Stanislaus in the eighth grade from Coast Episcopal School in Gulfport and quickly became one of the school’s most accomplished students. Graduating with a 4.82 weighted GPA and a 35 ACT score, he also earned recognition as an AP Scholar with Distinction and a National Merit Commended Scholar. His AP exam scores include 5s in AP European History, AP English Language and Composition, and AP United States History, along with 4s in AP Precalculus and AP Computer Science Principles. During his senior year, he continued to challenge himself academically through AP Calculus AB, AP Literature, AP Government, AP Biology, and AP Physics I. Farres stayed deeply involved in student life throughout high school, participating in Student Council, Student Ambassadors, Mu Alpha Theta, ACT 30+ Club, Key Club, and National Honor Society. He served as treasurer for both Key Club and NHS while also competing as a member of the wrestling team. Farres consistently balanced a demanding academic schedule with meaningful involvement across campus. This fall, Farres plans to attend Louisiana State University where he will study Mechanical Engineering. Charles also competed in cross country, soccer, and track throughout high school, serving as captain of the cross country and soccer teams. His athletic accomplishments include helping lead the Rocks to a soccer state championship in eleventh grade, while also earning second place in the state in the 4x400-meter relay and third place in the 4x800-meter relay. After graduation, Charles plans to attend University of Mississippi to study Chemical or Petroleum Engineering, with the possibility of later transferring to Texas A&M University. Charles Hoffmann has been named Salutatorian of the St. Stanislaus College Class of 2026, distinguishing himself through academic excellence, leadership, and athletic achievement during his time as a Rock-A-Chaw. The son of Hayden Biggs and Steve Hoffmann, Charles joined SSC in the seventh grade after attending Holy Trinity Catholic School. He earned a 4.70 weighted GPA, a 33 ACT score, and AP Scholar recognition while completing numerous Advanced Placement courses, including AP Calculus AB, AP Literature, AP Government, and AP Physics I during his senior year. He also earned AP exam scores of 5 in AP U.S. History and AP Biology, along with scores of 4 in AP European History and AP Language Arts. Throughout his six years at SSC, Charles has been actively involved in Mu Alpha Theta, National Honor Society, Student Ambassadors, Student Council, and Key Club. He served as PASCAGOULA -- Resurrection Catholic High School is proud to announce their Valedictorian Phil Ta and their Salutatorian Dylan Callahanof the Class of 2026. Phi Ta is the daughter of Hien Huynh and Phuong Ta. Phi plans to attend Harvard University to major in Molecular and Cellular Biology on the Pre-Med track in hopes of becoming a dermatologist and ultimately a physician-researcher. Dylan Callahan is the son of Jerry and Melissa Callahan.
