10 Gulf Pine Catholic • April 10, 2026 Father William Norvel, SSJ, laid to rest in hometown of Pascagoula Pascagoula native FatherWilliam L. Norvel, JR. SSJ, was laid to rest on March 26 after a Mass of Christian Burial in his home church, St. Peter the Apostle in Pascagoula. Father Norvel, who was the 13th Superior General of the Josephites, died on March 8. He was 90. Bishop Louis F.
