20 Gulf Pine Catholic • January 16, 2026 Our Lady of the Gulf invites Couple’s Night This Valentine’s season, Our Lady of the Gulf Parish invites couples to step away from the busyness of daily life and invest in what matters most -- marriage and family -- at a special evening titled “Wired by God: Understanding Your Temperament to Build a Joyful, Connected Family.” On Saturday, February 7, at 6 p.m., couples are invited to enjoy a romantic dinner followed by a talk from renowned Catholic authors and speakers Art and Laraine Bennett. Known nationally for their engaging presentations and practical wisdom, the Bennetts have helped thousands of couples grow in love and faith by illuminating how God’s design for temperament shapes the way we communicate, love, and live together. Rooted firmly in Catholic teaching, their presentation offers both spiritual depth and practical tools, helping couples better understand one another, appreciate differences as gifts, and build homes marked by peace, joy, and connection. Couples at every stage of marriage -- from newlyweds to those married for decades -- will find encouragement and insight. Following the talk, attendees will have the opportunity to participate in a book signing, with copies of the Bennetts’ best-selling works available, including The Temperaments God Gave You, The Temperaments God Gave Your Spouse, and The Temperaments God Gave Your Kids. In addition to the couples’ event, mothers are invited to a special Mom’s Breakfast and Q&A with Laraine Bennett on Friday, February 6, at 9 a.m. This separate event will focus on parenting through the lens of temperament, based on the book The Temperament God Gave Your Children. Breakfast will be provided and a separate registration is required. Both events promise to be enriching opportunities for faith-filled formation, reflection, and renewal.
