Gulf Pine Catholic • January 16, 2026 15 The Father A.C. Denis Knights of Columbus Council #7087 sponsored a Senior Citizens Thanksgiving Dinner on Nov. 23, at the KCHall on Highway 603. The event was attended by many senior citizens. The event included a welcome by Grand Knight Elbert Cuevas and a Blessing by Darnell Cuevas. Father Emmanuel and Father Mark delivered comments. Following lunch, an area band played music. Bingo followed with Bingo prizes for many. Teenage youth of St. Matthew Parish assisted with delivery of food and calling of numbers from winning cards. Most Holy Trinity Council #11995 awards October Family of Month Grand Knight Reid Parker serves a Most Holy Trinity Church parishioner at the annual Council #11995 Thanksgiving meal. The meal was organized and managed by Council member Clark Lizana and cooked by Ladies Auxiliary member Groverine Jones. Almost 300 people attended. Approximately 25 Council and Ladies Auxiliary members assisted with cooking, serving and clean-up. Grand Knight Reid Parker awards the Knight in Shining Armor Award to Jacob Higdon for his recent work in bringing new members to MHT Council #11995. Grand Knight Reid Parker together with the Ladies Auxiliary awards a Certificate of Appreciation to John Fayard, Sr. for his generous donation of a metal storage container for use during the MHT Council #11995 Rummage Sale.
