20 Gulf Pine Catholic • December 19, 2025 Trimming the Christmas Tree This year‛s Diocesan Pastoral Center Christmas tree, right, was decorated by sixth grade students from Nativity BVM Elementary, Biloxi. Students from all grades handmade the ornaments for the tree following this year‛s theme, “The Nativity of Jesus.” The morning began with Bishop Louis F. Kihneman III reading “The Advent of Christmas” by Matt Maher to the students. Above, after decorating the tree, the students pose for a photo with Bishop Kihneman, Superintendent Jennifer Broadus, and assistant Katherine Lingenfelder. Bishop Kihneman celebrated Mass for the students followed by a pizza party. The children then played a game led by Superintendent Jennifer Broadus.
