It helps you to blend the mat with reality by allowing you to understand that for a few minutes a day, it can be all about you. Your body needs this time to heal from the troubles and trials of the day, because life isn’t always a breath of fresh air. Life can be full of stress and anxiety. Taking time out of your busy day to meditate and work toward getting rid of the daily struggles isn’t always easy, but it is what we need. Our bodies are the result of a healthy mind. Our minds, in turn, can be the result of a healthy body. They work together – just as they were meant to do. There is a diversity of yoga classes in the Poplarville and Picayune areas each week. Seek out the Poplarville Yoga Community on Facebook. Pearl River Community College offers yoga classes. There are classes that are taught at personal homes.
