Resolution #514-21 A Resolution to Approve the Agreement Among the Colorado River Indian Tribes, the State of Arizona, and the Secretary of interior Regarding Off-Reservation Use of the CRIT Water. The Colorado River Indian Tribes is seeking federal legis- lation to authorize the CRIT to enter leases or options to lease, exchanges or options to exchange, or Storage agree- ment for the use and Storage of a portion of the CRIT Consumptive Use off the Reservation in the part of the State of Arizona that is in the Lower Basin and to author- ize the Secretary of the Interior to approve such agree- ments. The Colorado River Indian Tribes, Arizona Department of Water Resources, and Secretary of the Interior desire to enter into an Agreement to establish a cooperative process to provide notice, share information, and collaborate in advance of CRIT executing a CRIT Water Agreement and for procedures to quantify, report, verify, and account for the portion of the CRIT Decreed Allocation included in CRIT Water Agreements once federal legislation is obtained. Resolution #522-21 A Resolution to Authorize the CRIT Water Resources Department to Accept the U.S. Bureau of Reclamation Water SMART Small Scale Water Efficiency Projects Grant Funding Award No. R21AP10441-00 for the 73-19L-1 Canal Lining Project within the Colorado River Irrigation Project. The Colorado River Irrigation Project ("CRIP") is a critical component of the Tribal economy, and its continued oper- ation and efficiency depends on regular maintenance and technological improvements. The Water Resources Department seeks authorization to accept Federal funds from the Water SMART Water and Energy Efficiency Projects grant program in the amount of $209,182 for the 73-19L"1 Canal Lining Project pursuant to Grant Award No. R21AP10441-00. This funding will be used to improve the CRIP by installing concrete lining to approximately 4,000 linear feet of unlined canal, conserving water, and improving the overall efficiency of the CRIP system. Evoqua intends to stop accepting any wastes containing polychlorinated biphenyls (PCB's). CRIT is a co-permittee in the Evoqua facility and must approve Class 1 permit modification requests. CRIT and Evoqua will submit a request for a Class 1 Permit Modification to the US Environmental Protection Agency for USEPA ID No. AZD 982 441 263 to address no longer accepting waste with PCB's along with several informational updates.
