There are somany wonderful events taking place throughout the East Valley that are filled with fun, excitement, easter egg hunts and delicious brunches. Our Leisure World community will also be bustling with activities to celebrate the holiday. Afterall, why should the Easter Bunny have all the fun? Take a look at just a few family -friendly events taking place around the Phoenix area: Leisure World Easter Egg Hunt: Bring the family for a fun-filled Easter Egg Hunt throughout the Promenade. A pancake breakfast begins at 7:45 a.m. followed by the Easter Egg Hunt at 10:00 a.m. Surprises in every egg! There will also be a photo booth and petting zoo. Saturday, April 16th. Cost is $4 per person in advance or $5 at the door. You can register at the Recreation Office by Monday, April 12th. Leisure World Buffet Breakfast: Enjoy a fine Easter breakfast buffet prepared by Premier Catering in the Rec. 2 Hopi/Pima Rooms on Easter morning, April 17th from 9:00 – 11:00 a.m. This is an event for the whole family to enjoy together. Tickets are $28 per adult person. Kids under 10 are $18. You can register in the Recreation before Tuesday, April 13th. The Mesa Easter Pageant: The Mesa Easter Pageant, “Jesus the Christ”—the largest annual outdoor Easter pageant in theworld fromApril 6 - 9 and 12 - 16, 2022, on the north lawn of the Mesa Temple. A spectacular production highlighting the powerful and poignant moments of the Savior’s life with a 400+ member costumed cast, music, dance, drama, live animals, and special effects, all performed on a massive four-story-high stage. For more information, please visit www.mesatemple.org . Family Easter Celebration: This is a free event. Hop along our 24 Karrot Trail - no more dashing - collecting eggs and goodies along the way. Find a “Golden Karrot” and win an egg-citing prize. Make sure to bring your basket. Trails are open to little bunnies up to nine years of age. This event is at Snedigar Sportsplex.
