Twiddlers, Friday Morning Knitters and Crocheters Submitted by Carolin Lowy We meet on Monday and Friday mornings from 9:00 to 11:00 a.m. in the Queen Card Room. The group enjoys creating items, many of which are donated to charities. The conversations flow back and forth, along with a few good laughs. In November, we were able to donate over 150 items including throws, hats, carves and children’s items during our annual donation period. The Warmup America project is nearing over 5,000 rectangles and uses lots of scraps and left- over yarn. Donations of yarn are much appreciated. All residents are welcome to join! If you need help or want to learn something new, a member of our group will be able to assist you. We are delighted to have two gentlemen join in the fun and would welcome more! Once a month, an outing to a neighborhood restaurant is planned. Our December luncheon will be something special. For more information, please call Carolin Lowy at 480-641-4626.
