According to Leisure World’s Rules and Regulations: “All exterior holiday string lighting, projection lighting and decorations are required to be removed by the 15th day following the holiday. Personal property not used for landscape décor, stored at a manor shall be stored in an enclosed area, not visible from the street, walking paths, or adjoining manors. Personal property may be stored in a garage, and garage doors should be closed except when the resident is outside their manor in the immediate vicinity of, or working in their garage. Garage doors may be left open up to 12 inches for ventilation. No temporary outside window coverings may be installed. To best facilitate the publication process and meet our monthly deadline, please adhere to the following submission guidelines: 1. All articles, clubs, obituaries and any other submissions must be sent no later than the 10th of every month and will be assessed for publication. 2. Club and obituaries submitted should be 200 words maximum; Articles of interest should be 750 words maximum. 3. All submissions must be emailed to news@lwca. com. 4. All submissions must be in a Word document and NOT as a PDF or in the body of the email. 5. Do not use all caps. Capitalize only the rst letter of sentences or proper nouns. 6. When listing a contact number, please include the area code. 7. If photos are included, please list all names of individuals appearing from left to right, including any relevant titles. 8. Please save and attach photos as a .jpg le. Please do not send as a PDF. Please also be aware that submitting an article does not guarantee publication.
