18 Gulf Pine Catholic • December 6, 2024 St. Stanislaus is thrilled to celebrate the remark- able achievements of two exceptional students, Gibson Williams and Satvik Kompella, who have demonstrated outstanding academic excellence on the ACT! Gibson has attained a perfect 36 composite score, while Satvik has achieved a 36 superscore. These achievements are truly extraordinary. In 2023, out of 1.39 million high school students who took the ACT test, only about 2,600 (less than a quarter of a percent) achieved a perfect composite score of 36. Gibson’s achievement places him L-R Gibson Williams, Satvik Kompella among this elite group of top performers, showcas- ing his exceptional academic abilities and dedication to excellence. Satvik’s 36 superscore, while calculat- ed differently, demonstrates a similar level of aca- demic prowess and consistent high performance across multiple test sessions. Gibson Williams Gibson’s preparation strategy focused on deep understanding of the material rather than relying on prep courses. His thoughtful approach sets the stage for his future pursuits. He plans to pursue a degree in business, with a focus on finance or accounting. Satvik Kompella Satvik’s plan for success mirrored Gibson’s in many ways. Instead of formal prep courses, Satvik relied on consistent practice tests and the rigorous academic preparation provided by his coursework. His disciplined approach to learning has positioned him for a promising career in biomedical engineer- ing. St. Stanislaus is extremely proud of Gibson and Satvik and all they’ve accomplished and look for- ward to seeing the great things they will continue to achieve in the future!
