Twenty-six participants are experiencing the benefits of The Rescue Project , a new series from Acts XXIX which presents the Gospel in a new and innovative way. All participants are excited about the adventure they are taking and want to rec- ommend it to everyone to experience! You will be hearing more about it in the near future. Deacon Karl Koberger said, “Our pastor, Fr. Joe Uko, was excited about it when I proposed to him that we run this program for 8 weeks. I had the experience of The Rescue Project both at the Diocese of Biloxi Pastoral Center with all the employees there and then again at the Deacon and Wives retreat in May. Fr. Uko was very recep- tive and is participating and enjoying the experience with his parishioners!” The Rescue Project Lex Tootle was named “Knight of the Month” for August by Fr. Harry O. Wade K of C Council 7910 at St. Joseph Parish Drawdown in Gulfport, August 12. Knight of the Month S t . J oseph P arish , G ulfport Family of the Year Deacon Karl and Marianne Koberger were named “Knights of Columbus Family of the Month” for August by Fr. Harry Wade K of C Council #7910. Grand Knight Dennis Nowell presented the award at the St. Joseph Parish Drawdown in Gulfport August 12. S t . J oseph P arish , G ulfport S t . J oseph P arish , G ulfport Set and Spike! Our Lady of Fatima’s Parochial Vicar, Father Charles Arthur, takes the time to visit campus and spend some quality time with the children. From delivering meaningful homilies to setting volleyballs, Father Charles does it ALL. *BTW -- Great Form, Father!
