KC Council #7910 community activity K nights of C olumbus It’s been a SAINT-SATIONAL summer at Nativity BVM Catholic School. Under the direction of Rachel DiMauro, over eighty students have participated in another year of fun in the sun at Nativity’s annual Summer Saints program. From our tiniest baby Saints to our “grown-up” Big Saints, students have participated in a wide-range of field trips, educational activities, but most importantly, just having fun with friends! Our Big Saints visited the new TrainTastic museum, The Mullet Hop and The Grand Theater, while our Little Saints went to Lynn Meadows, the IMMS and nearby parks. Even our littlest of saints got in on the action with bubble fun, arts and crafts, music and more! DiMauro explains the importance of Nativity’s summer program is that it com- bines summer fun and adventure with educational opportunities, all while showing our love for Jesus! DiMauro is thankful for parent support, as well as the amazing Nativity camp counselors and cafeteria staff that are the backbone of this program. Additionally, Nativity is thankful to all of our community sponsors who helped make Summer Saints a success! The Biloxi Fire Museum, the Farmers’ Market, the Humane Society, the Biloxi Natatorium, the Kroc Center, Shucker’s Camp Day at MGM Park and Life’s a Beach Rentals all played a vital role in our program. As the summer comes to an end and school is on the horizon, our Summer Saints have made the best memories and we are grateful for another year of fun, friends and fellow- ship!
