Gulf Pine Catholic • June 9, 2023 7 Baccalaureate Mass St. Charles Borromeo Parish, Picayune St. Charles Borromeo celebrated the Class of 2023 on Sunday, May 21, with a Baccalaureate Mass for 11 of the graduating seniors followed by a luncheon. Scholarships from the Ladies Auxiliary of the Knights of Columbus and the Knights of Columbus were awarded as well as the inaugural Vergie Gipson Service Award. Thanks also goes to the Knights of Columbus and St. Joseph’s Altar for donating towards luncheon expenses. St. Rose de Lima Parish, Bay St. Louis St. Rose de Lima Parish in Bay St. Louis held a Baccalaureate Mass. Our Mother of Mercy Parish, Pass Christian Our Mother of Mercy Catholic Church congratulated their 2023 graduates in a Baccalaureate Mass. Graduates from Kindergarden to college are Karsyn Isabelle, Khloe Green, Leonard Biggs, Taylor Henderson, John- Xavier Thornton, Cameron Labat, and Monae Howard. Special thanks to Wanda Piernas for always doing a great job leading the Baccalaureate Mass. Month of Mary continues with a Rosary Procession by the CCD/CYO children. As the month of Mary, our Blessed Mother comes to an end we encourage everyone to make time for the Rosary daily.
