Gulf Pine Catholic • April 14, 2023 22 Four St. Stanislaus seniors announced on Wednesday, February 1, where they will continue their collegiate football careers. Running back Chandler Chapman and offensive lineman Fulton Ascherl are headed to Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College. Quarterback Hudson Osborne will play at Northeast Mississippi Community College and offensive lineman Ilias Rida is going to Southeastern Louisiana University. Congratulations to our Rock-A-Chaws. L ouis The St. Stanislaus spelling bee was won by freshman Aiden Wilson. After win- ning the school spelling bee, Aiden entered the state spelling bee at Mississippi University for Women on March 4. Aiden finished in the top five of 40 participants at the state spelling bee. Congratulations Aiden. L ouis RCS senior Bailey Bosarge received the Brenda Sargent Award at the Diocese of Biloxi Youth Convention on March 19. This prestigious award is named in memoriam to Brenda D. Sargent, who worked tirelessly in the Diocese youth office as an advocate for our youth. It is presented to a female youth for being a back- bone to her parish and youth group and who is in the trenches accomplishing what needs to be done with a servant's heart and willing spirit.
