Gulf Pine Catholic • April 14, 2023 20 The Ladies’ Day of Prayer and Reflection was held at Saint Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church on Saturday, March 11. Catholic ladies of Hattiesburg and other parishes attended and were given an inspirational day of talks and prayer. Father Godfrey Andoh, formerly of Saint Thomas, and Joe Lichtenhan, Deacon of the St. Thomas, led the event with music provided by Tessa Lichtenhan. The event was hosted by The Comfort and Care Committee of Saint Thomas. Father Godfrey Andoh, now rector of Nativity BVM Cathedral in Biloxi, giving talk at the Ladies’ Day and Reflection at St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church in Hattiesburg. T homas A quinas P arish , H attiesburg CDAOur Lady Star of the Sea Court #2767 sponsored a baby shower at St. Mary Parish, Woolmarket, on the weekends of Feb 11-12 and Feb 18-19. Over 1,200 dia- pers and other baby items plus $572 in cash donations were collected from parishio- ners. St. Mary Prayer Shawl Ministry also donated 50+ handmade baby blankets and baby outfits. Regent Holly Barrios-DiNardo, Vice-Regent Aimee Raymond and Treasurer Renee McDaniel delivered all these items to Catholic Charities of South Mississippi on Monday, March 1.
