20 Gulf Pine Catholic • December 9, 2022 This year’s Diocesan Pastoral Center Christmas tree was decorated by third grade students from Sacred Heart Elementary, Hattiesburg. Bishop Louis F. Kihneman III read “The Christmas Story” to the students and sang Christmas carols with them. Above, after decorating the tree, the students pose for a photo with Bishop Kihneman. Bishop Kihneman also celebrated Mass for the students who were treated afterwards to a pizza party. Left, Foster Blackburn places the angel on the tree.
