2 Gulf Pine Catholic • December 9, 2022 D iocesan E vents Navitity BVM Cathedral’s Advent ~ Christmas Concert Series 2022 BILOXI -- Nativity BVM Cathedral presents their 2022 Advent-Christmas Concert Series: Saturday, December 10: Gulf Coast Wind Ensem-ble, 1 p.m. Sunday, December 18: Nativity BVM Cathedral’s annual “Christmas Concert,” 3 p.m. Thursday, December 22: “Caroling in Cathedral Square,” 6 p.m. Dec. 12 Advent/Christmas Celebration for Families D’IBERVILLE -- Sacred Heart Parish, D’Iberville, will have an Advent/Christmas Celebration for Families on Dec. 11 at 6 p.m. in the Divine Mercy Hall, 10446 LeMoyne Blvd. After the 5 p.m. Mass come to the Hall for a delicious supper, a Christmas pageant with caroling, followed with the Christmas Movie part of “Mary of Nazareth.” St. Nick will be there too. The old and young and families from the wider community are invited. Please invite someone to come with you. Dec. 16 Our Mother of Mercy Healing Mass PASS CHRISTIAN -- Our Mother of Mercy will host a Healing Mass on Fri., Dece. 16 at 5 p.m. The church is located at 216 Saucier Ave. in Pass Christian. Dec. 18 Cathedral’s Annual Christmas Concert BILOXI -- Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary Cathedral will offer their annual “Christmas Concert” on Sunday afternoon, Dec. 18, at 3 p.m. The program features both sacred and secular popu- lar selections with new and original approaches. The concert is free and open to the public. Dec. 19 & 20 Blessed Seelos, Our Mother of Sorrows, and St. Michael Children’s Christmas Program BILOXI -- Our parishes will join together to tell the story of the birth of Baby Jesus through words and music. We will have two (2) performances: St. Michael on Mon., Dec. 19, at 6 p.m. and at Blessed Seelos on Tues., Dec. 20, at 6 p.m. All are welcome! Dec. 22 Caroling on Cathedral Square BILOXI -- On Thurs., Dec. 22, 6-7 p.m., the Music & Fine Arts Ministry of Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary Cathedral will offer “Caroling on Cathedral Square.” All are invited to come to the front of the Cathedral and Rectory -- the streets will be blocked off by the Biloxi Police Department and we will have this large space to join together in sing- ing Christmas Carols and other Christmas music selections. The Nativity BVM Cathedral Men’s Club will have hot chocolate, cookies, and electric candles to offer the carolers for a donation. Come, join in this new holiday tradition at the Cathedral!
