18 Gulf Pine Catholic • November 12, 2021 St. Vincent de Paul students celebrated All Saints Day a little early during the regular school Mass on Friday, October 29. The third grade students lead this Mass every year. To prepare, they each choose a saint to research and study. Then on the day of Mass, they dress as that saint and lead the rest of the school through the Readings, the Prayers of the Faithful, and bringing the gifts to the altar. After the Gospel is read, the students tell the congregation which saint they are dressed as and share some information about that saint. “Our third grade All Saints Mass is always one of my favorites. Many of our parents and grandparents join us and we have a full church,” said Carol Church, princi- pal of SVdP.
