14 Gulf Pine Catholic • October 1 2021 K nights of C olumbus Monsignor Leech Council 4472 and Holy Family Parish, Pass Christian Monsignor Leech Council 4472 and Holy Family Parish collected and donated 30,000 pounds of water and cleaning supplies to Sacred Heart Parish in Cutoff, Louisiana. Also delivered to Father Gregg Fratt was $20,000 collected during a special collection Sunday September 5. The tractor and trailer was donated by Brother Teddy Fields, owner of TJS Trucking. Seven Brother Knights from Monsignor Leech Council 4472 drove to Cutoff, Louisiana to assist. People in the attached photo are Brother Chad Burge, Father Gregg Fratt and Brother Tony Diaz del Valle. KC Council #15382, St. Thomas Aquinas Parish, Hattiesburg Leroy Rider, Mike Villarreal, and Hank Williams, members of St. Thomas Aquinas (Hattiesburg) Knights of Columbus Council #15382, delivered a trailer of donated relief supplies to St. Hubert Catholic Church in Garyville, LA. Father James Smith blessed them before they began their travels.
