A knee injury he suffered in his junior year limited Bradford to just two games. During those two games, he recorded ten tackles, including two for losses. Bradford has fully recovered from his knee injury and looks forward to being a force on the defensive line this season. He plans to play football at the collegiate level after graduating. Congratulations Joe Bradford. St. Stanislaus senior selected to preseason All-South MS High School football team Bradford On Saturday, August 7, 28 men from St. Elizabeth Seton Parish in Ocean Springs attended an evangelization retreat at St. Augustin Retreat Center in Bay St. Louis. It was a grace-filled moment encountering Christ and reflecting on the call to become missionary disciples. This retreat is the first step the parish is taking to fulfill the invitation of Misio Nostra -- Our Mission. The team was formed by only four members of St. Elizabeth Parish: Bill Oster, Fred Ostin, Roberth Gutherz, and Dominic Barberie. Father Sergio Balderas, pastor of St. Elizabeth Seton, is thankful these four men who believe and give themselves to this project of evangelization for the parishioners. The structure of the retreat is designated to initiate a journey of mis- sionary disciples of Jesus Christ. The follow-up for these retreats is to form faith- sharing communities that will learn how to grow in a deep relationship with Jesus Christ and how to evangelize others by using materials such as: Discipleship Quads, Be My Witness, The 99 Sheep, ARISE: Together in Christ. The closing Mass was celebrated Sunday at the parish with the community and friends. The next evangelization retreat is a women’s retreat on August 28 and the closing Mass will take place at St. Elizabeth Seton on Sunday, August 29. Thirty women have already registered and two are on the waiting list. Evangelization Retreat “ Come and See ” (John 1:39) S t .
