14 Gulf Pine Catholic • June 26, 2020 91st Annual Biloxi Blessing of the Fleet The 2020 Blessing of the Fleet, originally scheduled for June 7, was postponed a week due to Tropical Storm Cristobal. That turned out to be a blessing because June 14 turned out to be a beautiful day. Msgr. Dominick Fullam, pastor of St. Michael Parish in Biloxi, which sponsors the event, blessed shrimp boats and pleasure crafts. This was his first Blessing of the Fleet as pastor of St. Michael. This year’s Shrimp King was Eddie Rhodes and Erin Schreck was selected Shrimp Queen. Eddie Rhodes’s boat, the Terri Lynn, served as the blessing boat.
