14 Gulf Pine Catholic • March 20, 2020 K nights of C olumbus On March 1, KC Council 5654 held a blood drive under the direction of Dr. Blake Elkins, health director for the council. Thanks to his great coordination of setting up the drive and maintaining order during the donation of the blood. The Red Cross asked for us to have at least 25 pints, and Dr. Blake surpassed it to 37 pints due to his great advertising of the drive. Council 5654 hosted the (Reginal) Southern State Free Throw contest Saturday, March 7, at St. Alphonsus School gym. Knights of Columbus Council 5654, St. Alphonsus Parish, Ocean Springs On Feb. 11, Knights of Columbus Council 1908, Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Hattiesburg, presented a $375 check to Diane Bakerʼs high school art department class.
