Each student received a certificate, a Coca-Cola Student of the Month t-shirt, a Dominos coupon, and a liter Coke. St. Clare Parish, Waveland On Sunday, October 19, the Father AC Denis Knights of Columbus Council #7087 hosted a free spaghetti dinner to place focus on the anniversary of Roe versus Wade. Entry to the event was a baby item or gift card, or cash for Catholic Charities of Hancock County. Guest speakers Deacon Doug McNair and Karen Hebert provided hope for the cause of ending abortion in our country. The 14 St. Matthew and Annunciation teens and their sponsors traveling to DC were also present. Elbert Cuevas, church program director, was excited to see a good turn out with the youth and parishioners. Many donations were received for Catholic Charities of Hancock County. Father AC Denis Knights of Columbus Council #7887 On January 3-4, members of the Hispanic Ministry experienced the teaching of the KERYGMA . Deacon Mardo Magana, Deacon Jesus Arellano and Fr. Sergio Balderas were the presenters. Twenty-four attended this event at St. Augustine Retreat Center in Bay St. Louis. The men will have weekly follow- up meetings in their own parishes, in which these men will continue to study and reflect on the life of Jesus and how to follow him as disciples at home, work, and the parish community. Sergio Balderas. These woman learned for the first time the kerygma. The follow up after this faith formation weekend is a weekly meetings on each parish using the material, LEVÁNTATE “Unidos en Cristo.”
