Pham Resurrection Catholic Middle/High School, Pascagoula During Catholic Schools Week, the Resurrection Catholic Middle/High School faculty and staff designed a week of activities and assemblies to showcase their love of Catholic Education, and there was no better way to kick off the week than having over 40 RCS students return to school from March for Life invigo- rated in their Catholic faith sharing how the events of March for Life had enhanced their perspective of Catholicism as a whole. On Monday, juniors and seniors participated in a panel discussion with local community leaders where the panelists discussed how prayer, service, and their own spiritual journeys led them to where they are today. Other activities throughout the week included the high school choir traveling to the elementary campus where they treated the elementary staff and students to a powerful concert of spiritual songs. On Wednesday, both campuses prayed a Living Rosary simultaneously for the intentions of our country. In addition, RCS held an open house for the community. Many local parishio- ners and alumni visited and toured both campuses. Service has become an extremely integral focus at RCS, so Thursday was their day of service. Elementary and middle school students spent part of the day work- ing on projects on each campus, and high school stu- dents went out into the community working with vari- ous organizations, such as Backpack Buddies, Catholic Services, Pascagoula Senior Center, Jackson County Exceptional School, and many others. Catholic Schools Week culminated with a joint Mass held on the elementary campus. This event is always a highlight for students because all students from Pre-K to seniors join together to worship and cel- ebrate Catholic Faith. RCS is excited to share their spiritual growth and love of Catholic Education during Catholic Schools Week and every day!
