Donations for Retired Priests The Association of Priests of the Dioceses of Biloxi and Jackson provide a small pension to our retired priests. As you consider your estate plans, please, remember these faithful servants by making a donation or leaving a bequest to the Association of Priests. Pro-Life Christmas Cards Bella Grace Gifts in Gulfport, MS, on Courthouse Road, is selling Pro-Life Christmas cards for the holiday season. The outside design of the card is an exact duplication of the message and picture on the Pro-Life billboards. The cards are 10 for $10 with all the proceeds going to finance additional billboards. December 14 Advent Lessons & Reflections BILOXI -- The Music & Fine Arts Ministry of Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary Cathedral will once again this year offer our annual “Advent Lessons & Reflections” concert-service to honor and reflect upon the season of Advent. This season of Advent is the time of preparation, reflection and prayer in honor of the expected entrance into our world of the Baby Jesus. Designed in the style of the English Christmas Service “Lessons & Carols” this con- cert-service for Advent will have musi- cal reflections that will enhance the scriptures of Old Testament prophecies of the coming “Messiah” and the “Annunciation Story” of the Angel Gabriel appearing before Mary and announcing that she is the chosen one to be the Mother of God from the New Testament. The one-hour concert-service will be presented on Sat., Dec. 14, from 2:30-3:30 p.m. The program will feature the members of the Cathedral’s Choral Society -- “Gloria In Excelsis” along with members of the Mobile, Alabama Choral Society -- “Mobile Vocal Arts.” The program is free and open to the pub- lic to attend. January 11-15 St. Michael Parish Mission BILOXI - St. Michael Parish will host a mission with Father Jim Sichko Jan. 11-15, (Jan 11-12 weekend Masses & Jan 13-15 6 p.m.) All are welcome. Fr. Jim Sichko is a full time preacher, evangelist and motivational speaker based in the Diocese of Lexington, KY. In February of 2016, Pope Francis com- missioned Fr. Jim as one of his Papal Missionaries of Mercy of which there are only 1,000 in the world, 100 in the United States. Fr. Jim uses real life expe- riences and ties those experiences into the Gospel message of Jesus Christ. Known for his presentations entitled “60 minutes for Jesus,” each talk is geared for all in a family household with no exception. The sale will benefit St. Joseph Ladies Knights of Columbus Auxiliary. February 15 HTCS Announces Coastal Charm Event BAY ST. LOUIS -- Who will win the key to the room? That’s the buzz around Holy Trinity Catholic School (HTCS) in Bay St. Louis these days. Holy Trinity will launch its fundrais- ing event, Coastal Charm, on Sat., Feb. 15, 2020, featuring “The Room.” According to HTCS PTO President Julie Holmes, “The Room,” valued at more than $10,000, will be furnished exclu- sively by businesses along the Gulf Coast with furniture and accessories fit- ting the Coastal Charm theme. Raffle tickets are $100 and only 150 will be available for purchase. One lucky win- ner will be drawn the night of the event. The Coastal Charm event will also host live music, a silent auction, bever- ages and food. The event will be held from 7-11 p.m. at Our Lady of the Gulf Community Center on Beach Boulevard in Bay St. Louis.
