Gulf Pine Catholic • November 29, 2019 12 Dear Parishioners, As I have traveled throughout the Diocese of Biloxi, I have been deeply heartened and encouraged by the communities of faith I have en- countered in our parishes, missions, schools, and ministries. The Spirit of our Lord, Jesus Christ, is very much present and alive in our midst. I am especially encouraged by our people who want to grow in their faith and their love of Jesus Christ and their desire to become His disciples. The call of Jesus Christ in the Gospel of Matthew Chapter 28:19 “…to make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the holy Spirit…” we are taking to heart as a diocese and as a Church. I have seen that the Love of Jesus Christ is at the center of who we are and all we do. Jesus is calling us to continue to live out that love in each of our parishes, missions, schools, and ministries.
