LOUIS -- Saint Stanislaus, a Catholic boarding and day school for boys, will host its annual Open House on Tues., Nov. 19, 5:30-7 p.m. The Saint Stanislaus community invites all fami- lies who are interested in exploring their options for middle and high school edu- cation attend and experience the excite- ment! Guests will learn about the school’s outstanding academic, extracur- ricular, and athletic programs during a tour of the campus and by meeting teachers, administrators, students, and parents. November 28 Free Thanksgiving Dinner BAY ST. LOUIS -- The 34rd annual Free Thanksgiving Dinner will be from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., Nov. 28, at the OLG Community Center, 228 S. Beach Blvd., Bay St. Louis. The sit-down, restaurant-style dinner is open to all communities. The dinner includes turkey and all the trimmings. Take out dinners are also available. Deliveries will also be made to the homebound only in Bay St. Louis, Waveland and Hancock County. The homebound in these areas need to call now to reserve your meals on the list at (228) 223-7349 or e-mail nkellygirl@ yahoo.com, and include your complete name, address, phone number, and num- ber of meals needed. December 7 Sacred Heart School Crusader 5K and 1-Mile Fun Run HATTIESBURG -- The Sacred Heart School Crusader 5K and 1-Mile Fun Run will take place Dec. 7. The 5K begins at 9 a.m. and the Fun Run at 9:45 a.m., both at Town Square Park, located at 302 Walnut Street, next to the Main Street/Bay Street intersection. The regis- tration fee is $25 before noon Friday, Nov. 22. Late registration is $30 and $40 the day of the events. E v e n t T-shirts are only guaran- teed to those registering by Nov. 22. Race day on-site reg- istration will be from 7-8:30 a.m. at Town Square Park. Awards categories include overall male and female winner and top male and female finishers in the age groups 6 and under; 7-8, 9-10, 11-12, 13-14, 15-18, 19-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69 and 70-plus. The top male and female winner will receive a pair of running shoes, and the top male and female win- ner per category will receive a gift. All 5K and 1-Mile Fun Run finishers will also receive a finisher medal. Proceeds from the annual event are used to fund renovations and updates to Sacred Heart elementary and high schools.
