May they rest in peace! Bishop Roger Morin is pictured with Bishop Joseph Lawson Howze, first bishop of Biloxi, during a Mass at St. Rose de Lima Parish in Bay St. Louis. Bishop Howze died on Jan. 9, 2019. Bishop Howze was the first bishop to be buried in the Bishops’ Cemetery and Memorial Prayer Garden, which Bishop Louis F. Kihneman III dedicated on All Souls Day. Bishop Morin had planned on taking part in the celebration before he was called to his heavenly reward. He now joins Bishop Howze there in eternal rest.
