Gulf Pine Catholic • October 4, 2019 7 Parishes give departing Presentation Sisters heartfelt sendoff celebrations Presentation Sisters Mary Kealy and Consilio Buckley have returned home to Ireland. However, prior to their departures, the two were honored by their parishes with farewell celebrations. On Friday, September 13, Bishop Louis F. Kihneman and several priests concelebrated a Mass of Thanksgiving for Sister Mary at St. John the Evangelist Parish in Gulfport, where she ministered for 55 years. The following evening, Bishop Kihneman was principal celebrant for Mass of Thanksgiving honoring Sister Consilio at St. Thomas the Apostle Parish in Long Beach. Sister Consilio arrived in the United States 52 years ago and served as pastoral associate at St. Thomas the Apostle Parish, as well as St. Joseph Parish in Gulfport.
