Gulf Pine Catholic • May 31, 2019 7 Tyrone Necaise , a native of Hancock County, has been married to his wife Faye for 34 years. They have four children, Lauren, Jurene, Ty, and Trent, and six grandchildren. Necaise currently serves as an acolyte in his home parish of Annunciation Catholic Church in Kiln. He attended Hancock North Central High School, has an Associate Degree in Drafting and Design Technology from Pearl River Community College. In his career, he has worked in many aspects of design engineering while his most rewarding; the design of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Dedeaux. He has served his community in many regards and looks forward continuing his service through ministry. “It is life and its difficulties that make formation most challenging. It is true that if God brings you to it, He will bring you through it. Formation has been a great experience in forming my mind and heart to know Him, love Him, and continue serving Him.” Earl N. Saucier II , of the Dedeaux community and his wife Charlotte have been married for 24 years. They have two daughters -- Kesha and Jadyn -- and two grandchildren. He and his family have been members of Sacred Heart Parish Dedeaux for 19 years, where he currently serves as PAC president and acolyte. Earl has been employed with Chemours in Pass Christian for 26 years. “Christ calls each of us to a life of holiness and joy rooted in Him. The formation process developed a passion within me to serve those in our diocese, churches and communities to help them find God’s call and vocation in their own lives.” Dr. William C. Stentz, Jr. , has been married to his wife Carol Ann for 12 years. Son Joseph Holley and daughter-in-law Kaylie have recently blessed them with a granddaughter, Merryn Elizabeth. A native of New Orleans, Bill served 30 years as a dentist in the United States Air Force. Formerly a parishioner of Our Lady of Fatima Parish in Biloxi, Bill has served as an Acolyte at Sacred Heart Parish in D’Iberville for the past year. His “retirement” finds him serving the Air Force as a volunteer in dental education, helping the homeless at SVDP, visiting the Youth Detention Center, and participating in a variety of roles, activities and ministries at Sacred Heart. “God first lit the fire in my heart to answer His call to the Diaconate while I was praying before the tabernacle in 2007. The fire continued to grow during my overseas tour, and I prayed, studied, and sought guidance from priests. When I returned to Biloxi, God presented me with the opportunity to answer His call which I joyfully embraced. I am beyond blessed to be able to serve God and the Diocese of Biloxi as a Permanent Deacon!” Robert R. Wescovich, Jr., was born and raised in Biloxi and graduated from Biloxi High School. He and his wife Vicky will cel- ebrate 40 years of marriage in August of this year. They have two children, Brandi Marie and Robert Charles, and two grandsons, Glavan and Ellis. Robert currently serves as an acolyte and RCIA instructor at St. Mary Parish in Woolmarket. In 2014 He received the Lumen Christi award in the Diocese of Biloxi. Robert will also celebrate 40 years of service this year at Mississippi Power Company where he works as a Distribution Control Center Operator. “Our Catholic faith is so beautiful. Every day our Lord and King makes Himself so real to me. He has helped my family through thick and thin. Because of this, I have dedicated the remainder of my life to His service. Here I am Lord, send me!” John E. Williams is from Biloxi and has been married to Sondra for 38 years. They have three children -- Shellie and her husband Danny, Bradley and his wife Jessie, and Stacy and her husband Terry -- and 4 grandsons. He is a member of Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary Cathedral Parish in Biloxi, where he serves as an acolyte. Johnny received both a Bachelor’s and a Master’s of Social Work degree from the University of Southern Mississippi, and is a licensed certified social worker. He is presently employed at Memorial Hospital at Gulfport as Director of Patient/Customer Satisfaction. “I went into the field of social work because I wanted to help people. This desire to help others is echoed in God’s call to the perma- nent diaconate; as deacons, we are called to serve. I am eager to begin my ordained ministry so that I will have the help of the Holy Spirit to guide and inspire me in spreading the Good News to others.”
