Ki- hneman, III, was principal celebrant and hom- ilist for Resurrection Catholic High School’s May 21 graduation Mass at Sacred Heart Church’s Delmas Ac- tivities Center in Pascagoula. Emma Noelle Landry, daughter of Dr. and Mrs. Buddy Landry of Gautier, is the Valedictorian of the Class of 2019. She has attended RCS since sixth grade and is an active member of First Baptist Church, Gautier. Emma has received a total of $755,000 in scholarship offers. She will attend Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College in the fall to complete her associate’s degree. Emma plans to pursue her bache- lor’s degree at University of Mobile in preparation for graduate studies in audiology and speech pathology toward a career as a speech therapist. This year Emma has served as Key Club president and Interact Club secretary/treasurer. She is a six-year member of the RCS choir, in which she has cantored for RCS Masses on a regular basis. Of all Emma’s ex- periences at Resurrection, her most meaningful have been her two years of service on the Campus Ministry team, her opportunities to assist at Jackson County Ex- ceptional School and Resurrection Catholic Elemen- tary School, and her involvement in the RCS musicals Y ou’re A Good Man, Charlie Brown and Godspell . Emma says, “I feel so blessed to have had the sup- port of my family in making faith-based education a reality for me. I am grateful for the quality instruction I have received at RCS, and for the focus on service to others that is such an important part of Catholic educa- tion.” William Coleman Baumhauer, Jr., son of Bill and Stacey Baumhauer of Pascagoula, is the Salutato- rian of the Class of 2019. Will has attended RCS since Pre K4 and is an active member of St. John’s Episco- pal Church, Pascagoula. Will has received a total of $210,500 in scholarship offers. He will attend Missis- sippi State University in the fall. This year Will has served as Student Body presi- dent and a member of National Honor Society, Key Club and Campus Ministry. He also serves as the may- or for Pascagoula’s Mayor’s Youth Council. Will says, “I would like to thank my parents for allowing me to attend RCS for my entire life. Resurrection Catholic High School HATTIESBURG -- Bishop Louis F. Kihneman, III, was principal celebrant and homilist for Sacred Heart Catholic School’s Graduation liturgy on May 18 in the high school chapel. Haley Lauve Billingsley , daughter of Catherine and Victor Billingsley, has been named Valedicto- rian of the Class of 2019 at Sacred Heart Catholic High School. Haley has attended Sacred Heart since Pre-K4, and is a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church. She is a member of the National Honor So- ciety, Beta Club, Mu Alpha Theta. She received the Mississippi Scholastic Writing Awards Eudora Welty Silver Key Award. Haley volunteered in the com- munity through the Forrest General Spirit Girls or- ganization. She played soccer and volleyball for four years, and was a part of three state championships in soccer. Haley plans to attend Mississippi State Uni- versity and major in Biomedical Engineering. When asked what she is most thankful for, Haley said, “I am thankful to my parents for being examples of Christ to me every day and giving me an oppor- tunity to grow in my faith by enrolling me at Sacred Heart.” Jessica Rosemary Hyde , daughter of Kim and Jay Hyde, has been named Salutatorian of the Class of 2019 at Sacred Heart Catholic High School. Jes- sica has attended Sacred Heart since Pre-K4, and is a member of St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church. Jessica serves as the senior class president, Mu Al- pha Theta Treasurer and is a member of the National Honor Society, Beta Club, Campus Ministry Team and Retreat Team. As a multi-sport athlete, she has been a member of the soccer, cross country and track teams. Jessica was part of five state championships in soccer at Sacred Heart. Jessica plans a career in medi- cine. She will attend Southeastern Louisiana Univer- sity, where she will play soccer for the Lady Lions. Reflecting on her time at Sacred Heart Jessica said, “Growing up Catholic, attending a Catholic school was the primary foundation of my faith jour- ney.
