Bishop Fahey Council 1908 Knights of Columbus recently re-furbished the Mary Rock, located in Marian Park, across the street from Sacred Heart Church, Hattiesburg. Brother John Dryman performed a much needed pressure-wash to the Mary Rock, after years of being exposed to the elements. The “BEHOLD YOUR MOTHER” lettering has been replaced with a new distinctive lettering. Bishop Fahey Council 1908 Council 11654, St. Francis Xavier Parish, Wiggins The Knights of Columbus Council 11654 dedicated two new flagpoles at St. Francis Xavier Church in Wiggins. The U.S. flag was dedicated in honor of Sir Knight Robert Theriot and the Papal flag was dedicated in honor of the victims of abortion. On Tuesday, May 15, St. Stanislaus senior Daniel Wolf received his official appointment to the U.S. Coast Guard Academy which is located in New London, Connecticut. Lt. Brian Waller, who is currently stationed in Pascagoula, presented the appointment to Daniel during a ceremony on the St. Stanislaus campus attended by friends and family. Annually, approximately 10,000 students express interest in applying to the Coast Guard Academy. Daniel is one of 300 students who will comprise the Class of 2020.
