Bishop Louis F. Kihneman lays hands on Braxton Necaise during Necaise’s ordination to the transitional diaconate, which took place on June 2 at Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary Cathedral in Biloxi. Necaise, a native of Kiln and a parishioner of Sacred Heart Parish in Dedeaux, will serve for the next five months at St. Thomas Aquinas Parish in Hattiesburg under the tutelage of Father Mark Ropel.
