20 Gulf Pine Catholic • June 1, 2018 Holy Spirit Parish, Vancleave, celebrates Patronal Feast On May 13, Holy Spirit Parish in Vancleave celebrated the Patronal Feast of the Holy Spirit. The day’s activities began with the blessing, top left, of the new Knights of Columbus Hall for their Father Denis J. Harlow Council 15155 by Bishop Roger Morin. Top middle, the Bishop is wearing a stole and chasuble that was a gift from the parish. Top right, the members of the KC Council as well as Bishop Morin, Father Adam and Deacon John Jennings. Middle left, Bishop Morin blessed the new Holy Spirit Parish Council. Middle right, a lunch of fried chicken, hamburgers, and hot dogs with all the trimmings was served bymembers of the KC Council. There was even a clownwhomade balloon animals for the children.
