Boy Scout Mass, Nativity B.V.M., Biloxi Bishop Roger Morin celebrated the annual Boy Scout Mass on May 6. To celebrate Mother’s Day, the Pre-K 3-year-olds pampered their mommies with a “Spa Day” at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic School in Long Beach. Teachers Brandi Bradford and Kali Husband set up stations around their classroom. They practiced with their students how to rub lotion into their moms’ hands andmassage their feet. They practiced pouring cups of tea, “reading” out loud, and brushing hair. Once the mommies arrived, the students got busy pampering them. There was a place for the mommies and the children to make handprints, and they even had a colorful backdrop set up to take photos to commemorate the day. As the moms were leaving school with colorful bows in their hair, soft hands, and relaxed feet, it was easy to tell they enjoyed their “Spa Day” at St. Vincent dePaul.
