Gulf Pine Catholic • May 4, 2018 12 Knights of Columbus hold 2018 State Convention in Biloxi On Saturday, April 28, Bishop Louis F. Kihneman celebrated a Memorial Mass for Deceased Knights of Columbus. Members lit candles to honor those who passed away in the last year. Father Scott Thomas, State Chaplain, was one of the concelebrants of the Memorial Mass. The Knights of Columbus gathered in Biloxi April 26-29 for the 2018 State Convention. The Golden Nugget Hotel was the site of this year’s gathering, while Masses were celebrated across the street at St. Michael Church. Left, during the Saturday night banquet, State Deputy Noel Aucoin presented Bishop Kihneman with a cake on the occasion of the one-year anniversary of his Episcopal Ordination and installation as fourth bishop of Biloxi. At right is Richard Greenwold, from St. Elizabeth Seton Parish in Ocean Springs. Right, Jackson Bishop Joseph Kopacz receives offertory gifts from David K.
