April 7 Divine Mercy in Our Lives HATTIESBURG -- Father Adam Urbaniak will present “Divine Mercy in our Lives” on Sunday, April 8, at 2 p.m. at St. Thomas Aquinas Church, 3117 West 4th Street. A native of Poland, Father Urbaniak, who is also Director of Vocations for the Diocese of Biloxi, will present a personal account of St. Faustina’s devotion and its relevance in both the world at large and in our daily lives. All are welcome. This event is presented by the Catholic Student Association. April 8 Divine Mercy Sunday BAY ST. LOUIS -- Celebrate Divine Mercy Sunday, April 8, at Our Lady of the Gulf, Bay St. Louis. Multiple priests will be available for Confession from 2-3 p.m. followed by Divine Mercy Chaplet. Fr. Michael O’Connor will then officiate at a solemn blessing of the Image of Divine Mercy and Holy Mass. The ceremony will conclude with ven- eration of the Image. “The soul that will go to Confession and receive Holy Communion (on this day) shall obtain complete forgiveness of sins and punishment.” (Jesus to St. Faustina, Diary 699) April 12-15 Ladies ACTS BILOXI -- The next Ladies ACTS Retreat will begin on Thursday, April 12, at 5 p.m. at Paul B. Each evening will consist of Adoration at 6 p.m.; Rosary at 6:30 p.m. and Mass at 7 p.m. On Wed., April 18, Father Daniel Martinez Patino, parochial vicar of Our Lady of Fatima Church, will be the Mass celebrant. On Thurs., April 19, Father Jacob Smith, O.F.M., parochial administrator of St. Clare Parish in Waveland, will celebrate Mass and administer the Sacrament of the Sick. On Fri., April 20, St. Ann pastor Father George Machapilly, C.M.I., will cele- brate Mass. There will also be a Eucharistic Procession and Burning of Petitions The Holy Infant of Good Health Feast Day Celebration will take place on Sunday, April 22, at St. Ann Church. Bishop Louis F. Kihneman will be prin- cipal celebrant and homilist. The cele- bration will begin at 12:50 p.m. with recitation of the Rosary. At 1:10 p.m., musicians will pay homage to the Holy Infant. Procession will begin at 1:45 p.m. Mass will begin at 2 p.m. A fiesta will follow Mass. Please bring a dish for 12. There will also be music and a piñata for the children. April 21 Magnificat Breakfast BILOXI -- The Magnificat Ministry of the Gulf Coast would be hon- ored to have you attend its spring breakfast which will be held Saturday, April 21, at Our Lady of Fatima Parish. Hall doors will be opened at 9 a.m. to welcome you. The guest speaker will be Melissa Logos. She and her husband, Franklin, are the parents of four beautiful daugh- ters. Today, Melissa and her family serve Mass together at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Woolmarket. Melissa has always kept God first in her life and her husband second -- knowing that every- thing would fall into place. She opened a new business in 2014 and shortly after that, her daughter, Kirsten, was diag- nosed with acute lymphoblastic leukem- la. Then in 2016, her husband was laid off from his work. It was her faith and intercession of the Blessed Mother that kept her strong during those difficult times. Praying the rosary has brought her peace in some of her difficult times. Monthly Mass for People with Special Needs BILOXI -- The International Order of Alhambra Oran Caravan #67 is sponsoring a monthly Mass on the fourth Sunday of each month for people with special needs at 2 p.m. at Our Lady of Fatima Church, 2090 Pass Road.
