billion in value, approximate-
ly half of the total volume in
the metro area in 2015.
Office Broker of the Year-Team honors went
to Tim Harrington, Victor Frandsen and Alan
Polacsek of Newmark Grubb Knight Frank. The
team completed more than 200 transactions
totaling $645 million in total consideration for
a broad range of institutional and local own-
ers. The team and award presenters, from left,

Dorfman receives the inaugural Legacy Broker
Award at NAIOP Colorado’s 2015 Awards
of Achievement at the Denver Center for the
Performing Arts Feb. 25. The event recognizes
outstanding accomplishments by individuals and
companies within the Colorado commercial real
estate industry and drew more than 500 regis-
trants. Dorfman was honored for his leadership,
for mentoring countless brokers and for his com-
munity service.

passion for NAIOP includes
being actively involved in the
Rocky Mountain Real Estate
Challenge for the past 10
years.
Sen. Chris Holbert, R-Dist. 30,
was selected as the James T.
Brubaker Legislative Award
recipient. Holbert was called
a “stalwart supporter” of the
importance of urban renewal
authorities and tax-increment
financing to move develop-
ment projects forward.
Geoff Baukol of CBRE Inc.
was named Investment Broker
of the Year-Individual. Baukol
had a banner year, closing
nearly $800 million in trans-
actions representing nearly
3.5 million square feet.
Todd Wheeler of Cushman &
Wakefield had a record year
in 2015, earning Office Broker
of the Year-Individual honors.
Wheeler completed 79 transac-
tions totaling just over $181
million in total consideration,
and served a broad range of
institutional and local owners.
