Avison Young’s Denver
office volunteered with Hab-
itat for Humanity of Metro
Denver as part of the com-
pany’s Global Day of Giving.
Employees inAvison Young’s
60 offices in the U.S., Canada
and Europe dedicated Oct. 9 to
participate in volunteer projects
as part of the company’s Global
Citizenship efforts. Each office
selected its own community
volunteer project.
“While Avison Young offices
already contribute to many
charitable
organizations
throughout the year, setting
aside a day for all 1,600 pro-

time will broaden and greatly
strengthen our philanthropic
efforts as a company,” said
Mark Rose, Avison Young
chair and CEO.
“By holding the Global Day
of Giving this year and in
the future, we will be able to
give back to our communi-
ties in small ways that will
collectively make a big dif-
ference. Furthermore, as we
continually endeavor to meet
our own and our clients’ goals
and challenges, we hope that
the Global Day of Giving will
increase awareness of these
community projects, which
strive to help people in need
and at risk.”
