dating back to 1976.

The bronze centerpiece of the
memorial towers 20 feet above
the plaza and symbolizes the daily
courage and bravery of firefighters.
RIGHT:
Originally erected in 1989, the
memorial is lit from dusk to
dawn, showcasing the descending
firefighter cradling an infant in
one arm.
