Colorado Notary Training RULONA Demand for notaries is increasing as more people require notaries for estate planning, medical care, real estate, loans, business, dispute settlements, and other legal documents. As of July 2018, Colorado began requiring all new and renewing applicants to take the Revised Uniform Law on Notarial Acts (RULONA) training and pass the online exam. The law was updated again and went into effect January 1st, 2021 to include modifications to comply with COVID restrictions. Many banks, lenders and title companies have begun to outsource these duties creating tremendous income and growth potential for notaries with mortgage signing expertise. Trained notaries earn from $85 to $250 per file assignment. This certification training will familiarize you with the process, procedures, and responsibilities of a signing agent. Working with typical loan documents, you will learn to identify certificate language, document formats and file presentation to ensure the integrity of the loan signing.
