San Xavier Road, Tucson The “Patronato’s Christmas at San Xavier” will feature the Tucson Boys Chorus and the Sons of Orpheus – The Male Choir of Tucson. Tickets range from $100-$135. In addition, the Tucson Girls Chorus will join in a special performance Dec. 10 at 7:45 p.m. at the El Con Mall, with busses leaving San Xavier for the performance. Stone Ave., #2 Tucson The Diocesan Pastoral Center will be closed the following days in December and January because of the holidays: Dec. 24 and 25, Dec. 31 and Jan. 1. The diocesan offices will close at 11 a.m. on Dec. 23 for the annual Diocesan Christmas Party. The Catholic Foundation has announced the hiring of Elizabeth Bollinger as its new executive director, and Ana P. Chavarin has begun as the diocesan Human Life and Dignity coordinator. Bollinger, who currently serves as vice president of Fund Development and Communications for the Tucson Boys & Girls Club, will replace the retiring interim Executive Director Ernie Nedder on Jan. 6. Chavarin began Nov. 4, filling the vacancy left when Franciscan Sister Leonette Kochan returned to Wiscon- sin in August. Bollinger has more than 20 years of fundraising experience and has been at the Boys & Girls Club since March of 2016. She gradu- ated from Salpointe Catholic High School and Gonzaga University in Seattle. She has served in leadership roles for St. Cyril Catholic School, Salpointe’s Founda- tion Gala Committee, Angel Charity for Children, Tucson Country Club Homeowners Association’s Hospitality Committee and the Tucson Symphony Cotillion Com- mittee. Chavarin is a lead or- ganizer at Pima County Interfaith Civic Education Organization and worked closely with Sister Kochan on numerous issues. She received the national Cardi- nal Bernardin New Leader- ship Award from the Catho- lic Campaign for Human Development on Nov. 11 in Baltimore at the US Confer- ence of Catholic Bishops’ annual fall meeting.
