From that moment on, this moss- covered falls became the most famous attraction from Caras- Severin, one of the most beautiful counties in Romania. Like many other natural attractions in Roma- nia, Bigar Waterfall has its own legend, this time of a girl in love, locked by her parents in the small cave close to the falls. Desperately wanting to be with a boy named Bigar, the girl could only do that after she was transformed into a waterfall and the boy drowned in its waters. Salar de Uyuni, Bolivia Salar de Uyuni, amid the An- des in southwest Bolivia, is the world’s largest salt flat. It’s the legacy of a prehistoric lake that went dry, leaving behind a desertlike, nearly 11,000-sq.- km. landscape of bright-white salt, rock formations and cacti-studded islands. Its oth- erworldly expanse can be ob- served from central Incahuasi Island. Though wildlife is rare in this unique ecosystem, it harbors many pink flamingos. Darvaza Gas Crater, Turkmenistan The Darvaza gas crater, known locally as the "Door to Hell" or ''Gates of Hell", is a natural gas field collapsed into an un- derground cavern located in Derweze, Turkmenistan. Ge- ologists intentionally set it on fire to prevent the spread of methane gas, and it is thought to have been burning continu- ously since 1971. Grand Prismatic Spring, Yellowstone Old Faithful may be more famous, but the Grand Prismatic Hot Spring is the most photographed thermal feature in Yel- lowstone. That's because of its crazy-bright colors and enormous size. So, what Makes the Grand Prismatic so Grand? It is deeper than a 10-Story Building, the third largest spring in the world, is bigger than a football field at 370 feet in diameter. A gridiron is 360 feet long and 160 feet wide, has a rainbow of colors from bright bands of orange, yellow, to green ring the deep blue waters in the spring. The multicolored layers get their hues from different species of thermophile (heat-loving) bacteria living in the progres- sively cooler water around the spring. And the deep blue center, and is a Living Thermometer. Antelope Canyon , Arizona The mysterious and haunt- ing beauty of Antelope Can- yon (also known as "Cork- screw Canyon") awaits the adventurous traveler who seeks to discover one of the most spectacular -- yet lit- tle known attractions of the Lake Powell area. A tour to this awe-inspiring sculp- ture set in stone is a must for amateur and profes- sional photographers alike. Come see nature's surprising masterpiece of color. While a couple of days may not be enough time to see all there is to see in Ari- zona, that’s ample time to see Antelope Canyon, Horseshoe Bend, and a few more choice attractions that make this little desert town a big-time player in Northern Arizona’s travel and tourism scene. Uzbekistan's Blue City, Samarkand The historic town of Sa- markand is a crossroad and melting pot of the world's cultures. Founded in the 7th century B.C. as ancient Afrasiab, Samar- kand had its most signifi- cant development in the Timurid period from the 14th to the 15th centuries. The major monuments in- clude the Registan Mosque and madrasas, Bibi-Kha- num Mosque, the Shakhi-Zinda compound and the Gur-Emir ensemble, as well as Ulugh-Beg's Observatory. Past, Present & Future At some point in our life most of us have read in the Einstein's Theory of Rela- tivity, the famous equa- tion E = mc 2 . What does this imply, in simple words Einstein states that energy and mass are interchange- able. The theory of Special Relativity explains how Space and Time are linked for objects that are mov- ing at a consistent speed in a straight line. In simple words it means speed of light is constant, any object which can move at a speed more than the speed of light, time will slow down for that object. Mahayana Buddha and Vedic texts both have a reference to this theory writ- ten probably 2000 years ago. According to the Vedas, time is cyclical. It is not linear. So, everything that has happened, is happening, about to happen in our life - i.e., past, present and future is all a myth. Since time is cyclical we cannot see the future now. But all the events in our life, previous life and future life are all being occurring now, it’s only that we don’t have the ability to see them simultaneously. The essence of Law of Relativity by Einstein has one important premise, that the galaxies are ever expanding and they overlap each other at various junc- tions and at various times. This overlapping leads to the creation of hol- low voids. These hollow voids also called as Black holes, it is believed that not even light can pass through them. These Black holes are also the access zones to access the other realms. It is mentioned in the Vedas that the Vedic civilization had the ability to pass these voids and access other realms. It is also possible according to Einstein’s theory, only possible if an object can move at a speed faster than light.
